My friend Rachel sent this e-mail to me with this picture on it....Remeber your mom, teacher and just about everybody else telling you to never run with pencils...here you go...proof it's a really bad idea!!!! I don't know who this kid is but I feel for him...
Sidenote: I happen to have a pencil dot "tattoo" on my inner knee from the 4th grade when someone bumped me, I dropped my mechanical pencil and it pierced through my jeans and into my skin.

You scared me to death! I thought it was one of your kids when I first saw it! Whew, but still really disturbing! I feel so bad for that kid! I can't stop writing exclamation marks!

Hurry and post something new to get that picture off! If makes me sick. I showed it to Adam last night and he kept talking about it and thinking about it. Good, that is what I want, now don't run with pencils!
I still have a piece of lead in my forehead from the 2nd grade! ha! ha! I was holding it straight up with the eraser on my school desk. My friend said something funny and I (being someone who has to bend over or lean my head on someones shoulder, etc. when I laugh) flung my head forward and when I came back up the pencil was sticking straight out of my head. I think my friend was more freaked out than me. I just took it out really quick, asked my teacher if I could go to the bathroom and then cried once in there. :)
