This 4th of July kind of crept up on us without a warning...with Grady being in the hospital I lost track of time and what was coming next. We didn't even get our decorations out this year...Geesh! Our little traditions start on the 4th at 11:00am in Kaysville where we enjoy the fun parade. Kaysville's parade has two parts, the first part is all of your normal parade stuff like floats, horses, bands etc. The second part is the Water Fight Part and this is where the kids really have fun. There are fire trucks and water trucks and "my daddy and me made this" trucks....any thing and any way to get water from you to the crowd will do. It is always so much fun to get soaking wet on such a hot day. This year was no different except there was a nice breeze to keep the heat at bay. Also, I went out of my way to get us all matching shirts this year. Normally I only end up getting the kids a shirt but I scored a deal. I was in Wally World on Monday night and noticed that the girl's shirts were marked down to $1. I checked all of the other shirts but they were still marked $3. I took them up to the clerk and explained what I had discovered and I talked her into giving them all to me for $1. Instead of $18, I spent $6...are you proud of me or what...

Everyone looks darling! Sounds like you had a wonderful time. I wish I'd been there to swim too!
What a darling family you have! I'm glad that Grady got his oxygen off. I was happy to see you at Relief Society today. I didn't get a chance to say hi, so "HI"!
Hi Amy...I found you on Carrie's blog. You're family is so cute. I've had fun reading a few of your posts. I'm glad to hear that Grady is starting to recoop...poor guy.
