Consumption...

I'm busy...
I'm bored with the ol' blog...
I'm not sure anyone even reads it...
I have been completely obsessed with my consumption of calories as of late...
and I have been bustin my butt at the gym 5 times a week too...
I'm not a runner at all...
and I'm okay with that...
I can kill myself walking uphill instead...
and it burns a jazillion more calories than walking on a flat surface...
it feels good...
I have been doing this 'routine' now for about 5 weeks...
and I have lost 6.4 lbs...
not much you say...
well, it's a whole lot to me...
it's proof that my hard work and dedication is paying off...
I'm actually doing it and seeing results...
my consumption of calories is very limited...
like 1350 to 1500 a day limited...
you could eat that many calories in one meal at most restaurants...
but it's not as hard as I was expecting...
I am doing so well with it and I have surprised myself with my dedication...
I have one day a week that I let myself bake and have a treat...
it's Sunday and I am thinking of starting a new recipe blog called...
The Sunday Baker...
but we'll see, cuz I'm busy...
as stated above...
so that's my story...

Amy, I always read your blog, and look forward to the laugh you give me. I love your recipes too! I've been counting my calories on myfitnesspal.com for the last several months. I had never wanted to do that, probably because I thought I wouldn't be able to do it. But like you said, it's easier than I thought. Way to go. I'm so proud of you and your dedication!

K I read your blog everytime you post. i love your humor. I also have been trying to work out ALL the time and watch calories- it's hard, but also eye opening to how many calories are really in foods. I also eat whatever I want on Sunday! Yea for sunday! Keep up the good work on your exersise/dieting plan, and keep blogging!

Good job on your diet and exercise! I have recently been trying to lose weight and it is soooo hard! I swear it is because I am older. And I am not very good at doing hard things. I wish I had as much success as you have had!
