Viewing and Funeral...

As you can probably imagine...the viewing and funeral was very emotional...Beautiful but emotional...

Sage looked absolutely perfect and so beautiful in her little white dress...

Her face was like a porcelain doll still in it's package and she has and angellic look about her...

Of course, she is an Angel...

And Angel to watch over and protect us...

to teach us and lead us home...

We are so fortunate to have this luxury...

Tyler and Sarah were so brave and so strong...

So many tears were shed and emotions were like that of a roller coster...

Laughter...Joy...Sorrow...Sadness...all of them wrapped up into a 24 hour period...

Each one of Tyler and Sarah's children picked something to put in little Sage's casket...Mr. Potatoe Head, A Nerf Dart, some Lip-Gloss and a Baby Doll...They also prepared the most beautiful words to express their love for little Sage...Where does Big Sister H get her wisdom and strength???...Probably her parents...

At the cemetery we had a balloon launch and it was spectacular...

We are hoping to carry on this tradition every Easter...in Sage's name...

Sage's cousins each prepared a note for her and attached it to gerber daisy...they placed them on her casket for her safe keeping...so precious...

We spent the afternoon reminiscing about little Sage and her strong personality and desire to make everyone around her smile...such a special little girl...

My little family came home and read a special book about death and what happens when you die...sort of our Family Home Evening for this week...

Then it was off to bed...

We were so emotionally and physically tired that I don't remember hitting the pillow...

But I do remember thinking of little Sage and of all the things she has taught me this last week...

I feel so honored to have been her Auntie and to have been a part of her life...her special, perfect life...

I love you Sagie Boo...

Til' next time...

Jenner and Daddy...mesmerized by the balloons...

Jenner and Nammy...she's waiting to put her flower on the casket...
She even said right to Nammy, "I put dis fowder on Sagie's tasket..."

Taylor is also mesmerized by the balloons...

It sounds like such a beautiful service, Amy. And the fact that her family is smiling is a testament to their strength and spirit.

What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful angel. So sweet how Sage's siblings gave her a tribute and involving the cousins. Isn't it wonderful to know that our Heavenly Father has a plan for us to be together again? My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I can't even begin to tell you how much this has touched me. I have been so heartbroken about your little Sage. I don't really know why. I guess it is because Addison is so close to her age. I love the special things you did for your kiddos that helped them understand and be part of it. I hope you are okay Amy- I have been praying for your little family and extended family- best wishes!
