The meds are working...

Hey...I am doing much better...I felt like I got hit by a Mac Truck on Monday and Tuesday and today was a bit better...Jenner is now on antibiotics too for a sinus infection, poor kid. The sick season will be over soon and I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Also, Grady made his first attempt to read a chapter book tonight and I couldn't be more excited about it. I always thought he was going to be my one who just didn't care about reading but he has really taken a liking to it and it is so fun to witness...if you know of any easy chapter books out there, please let me know. Right now he is reading the Captain Underpants stuff but it is still a little hard and when he comes to a really hard word he can't sound out, he skips it...funny I know but sort of defeats the whole purpose of reading a "story" when you skip half the words...Cute little guy!

I'm glad you're feeling better. I should see my Dr. cause I'm not getting any better. Bummer Jenner has it too.
Hooray for Grady. Nathan likes Nate the Great and the Magic Tree House books.

You guys sure have been sick a lot. I hope you all get better fast! It seems like springtime sicknesses are always the worst. My boys have some captain underpants books, but for my younger little guy, he reads the magic treehouse books. They are little chapter books, but much easier than captain underpants. I also really like them because they always teach you something. They are usually based around some event in history. All my boys have enjoyed them.

Amy, I love reading your blog...I admit I am a silent stalker. :O) I love that you are down to earth, honest (refreshingly so) about your life, and have an awesome sense of humor! Anyway, glad you're feeling better. As for books, my boys first chapter books were Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot series. They are awesome and fast reading for first experiences with chapters. We also like the Horrible Harry series. Very funny. Swing by on your way from Dr. Spencers and you can borrow them.

It's not exactly a blog...it's more like a space set aside with our name on it...just so I can comment on everyone elses blogs...my life is too boring...just routines from "son" up until "son" down.
