Jenner's preschool took a trip to Black Island Farms...

the girls had a great time whilst I froze clear into my bones...

now I understand the phrase 'bone chilling'

We headed up to Pine View one Saturday for some driftwood collecting...

We visited the Zoo too...

we hadn't been since the new addition and man, it did not disappoint!

Finally something good to look at there...

Been crafting around here...

before you judge, I used to craft profusely in my day...

but haven't felt a liking to it in the last few years...

my life changed when Sage passed away and my crafting desires disappeared!

sounds weird, I know, but it's just how it is...

So crafting with my girls is a HUGE deal for me...

and don't tell anyone, but I kinda enjoyed myself!

Pumpkin Muffins

Post Edit:  I did not use vanilla paste because I don't even know what that is, I just doubled regular liquid vanilla.
And, I didn't use any cloves cuz I don't like them...but for the rest of the spices I was very heavy handed on them, just taste the batter before you bake and decide if you need more!


I found this recipe via Pinterest today and I had all of the ingredients (minus 1 egg, Thanks Sarah) to immediately whip them...

and lemme tell you...

hands down the BEST muffin I have ever had!

I took a few pics of my babies today and I am loving them...

it was by far the most challenging photo opp to date and I blame that on the fact that they are my kids and most definitely don't wanna listen to me and because I am their mother, I expect great things to happen!

Nonetheless...I got some good ones!
