Viewing and Funeral...

As you can probably imagine...the viewing and funeral was very emotional...Beautiful but emotional...

Sage looked absolutely perfect and so beautiful in her little white dress...

Her face was like a porcelain doll still in it's package and she has and angellic look about her...

Of course, she is an Angel...

And Angel to watch over and protect us...

to teach us and lead us home...

We are so fortunate to have this luxury...

Tyler and Sarah were so brave and so strong...

So many tears were shed and emotions were like that of a roller coster...

Laughter...Joy...Sorrow...Sadness...all of them wrapped up into a 24 hour period...

Each one of Tyler and Sarah's children picked something to put in little Sage's casket...Mr. Potatoe Head, A Nerf Dart, some Lip-Gloss and a Baby Doll...They also prepared the most beautiful words to express their love for little Sage...Where does Big Sister H get her wisdom and strength???...Probably her parents...

At the cemetery we had a balloon launch and it was spectacular...

We are hoping to carry on this tradition every Easter...in Sage's name...

Sage's cousins each prepared a note for her and attached it to gerber daisy...they placed them on her casket for her safe keeping...so precious...

We spent the afternoon reminiscing about little Sage and her strong personality and desire to make everyone around her smile...such a special little girl...

My little family came home and read a special book about death and what happens when you die...sort of our Family Home Evening for this week...

Then it was off to bed...

We were so emotionally and physically tired that I don't remember hitting the pillow...

But I do remember thinking of little Sage and of all the things she has taught me this last week...

I feel so honored to have been her Auntie and to have been a part of her life...her special, perfect life...

I love you Sagie Boo...

Til' next time...

Jenner and Daddy...mesmerized by the balloons...

Jenner and Nammy...she's waiting to put her flower on the casket...
She even said right to Nammy, "I put dis fowder on Sagie's tasket..."

Taylor is also mesmerized by the balloons...

Pay Pal

I just set up a pay-pal account for Sage's family to help them with the burial costs...

It should be much easier now to donate...

Just hit the pay-pal buttom at the top of my blog to donate...

Thank you for your love and prayers...
As of now, you have to go into a Wells Fargo Bank to donate and then use the account number...

7346242451

Sorry for the inconvenience...

This has been so ridiculous...

We just want them to have some help with the burial costs...

Is that too much to ask?

We thank you for your support and for your deep compassion during this experience...

I have read and re-read each of your comments over and over while coping with my emotions, I thank you from the bottem of my heart for loving me and for loving Sage and her family...we feel so special to be so loved and so blessed!

Thank You!

Sage Caroline

Prayers were said in Her behalf...

Her family prayed...

Her friends prayed...

People all around heard Her story and prayed...

We prayed so hard and with so much faith...

And Heavenly Father answered...

He needed Her home...

Her mission is with him...

Our MIRACLE didn't happen the way we wanted...and I know there is a MIRACLE in this situation somewhere, but for now I just haven't found it...

She is in Heaven...

And, She is Happy...

Thank you for your thoughts and for your prayers...

Hold your little ones a bit tighter tonight...I know I am!

Love, Auntie Amy

Thank you Sara S. for making this picture beautiful!

The latest...

I have the latest on sweet Sage...and it isn't good!

Two brain scans were performed in the night and her results came back with no brain activity at all...

One more scan at 11:00am this morning to check for that brain activity...

Pray for activity...

Pray for a bump on the screen...

Pray for a reaction from her little soul...

Pray
Really need a MIRACLE at this point!...Keep praying!

Sage update...

Well I just left Tyler and Sarah's house with their other 4 children in the care of Nammy....they needed her so badly tonight.  I tried to hug and kiss on them but I wasn't their Nammy...only she can fill that void.

Little Sage has been put on full life support and her little pulse is only mediocre...the Dr's are doing two brain-scans tonight to see if they can find anything else out...

We have a theory of what happened...

Miss Sage (2) and sister Amanda (4) were upstairs playing when Sage went into a crying fit...she will sometimes pass out when she is having a crying fit...the theory is that when she passed out this time, her little body landed face first onto a toy that supposedly blocked her airway and she wasn't able to come to...

Poor Sarah and Tyler performed CPR on her and Tyler gave her a blessing while the ambulance was on its way...

The rest of the story is a blur...the men worked on her for some time and then life-flighted her to Primary Children's...

And now we only know what I have told you...not a whole lot!

But, we could still use the prayers and the thoughts of concern sent our way!

Thank You!

Auntie Amy

Just this once...

Since writing this post on Monday, our sweet Sage passed away on Tuesday March 2...

You can see the whole story by typing in my blog address...http://www.bartonfamilyco.blogspot.com/...

I have updated several times since this post...

Thank you...

See this beautiful little girl...her name is Sage, and she is my niece. She is 2 years old and is fighting for her life right now. Little Sage was found on her bedroom floor not breathing and without a heartbeat...her small life hangs in the balance and we are asking for a MIRACLE!
I am sending this SOS out there in hopes that you will too pray for our MIRACLE...please pray! And, pray diligently and with much FAITH!

At this point we don't know much...we do know that she is on life support and isn't responding to anything...they're working hard on her at Primary Children's and I know they will do their best! But a little help from all of us wouldn't hurt...so Pray, Pray and Pray some more!

A couple of cuties...

This first one is just to show what Chris has been up to...we finally found some tile that we loved for the backsplash and he spent all day Saturday putting it up...isn't it GORGEOUS!!!

I have an edited one of this picture but couldn't find it...

Love this kid...

and, Love this picture of him!

My new toy!

So this is my new toy and I couldn't be more excited! I have already been playing with it and figured out some new things...you wouldn't know that my focus in college was photography...hahaha! I knew absolutely nothing about cameras until my friend Nicholai came over and spoke to me in a language I could grasp...thanks to her I am learning and figuring things out! It seems that everywhere I go now I am always looking for that 'perfect' spot to take pictures...I am so excited about this!
So, stay tuned for some of my learning experiments to show up...yay!

Taylor Says...

It's November and this means that her Birthday is near...she is funny and silly and I wanted to share with you a silly story about a conversation we had with her last night...giggle a little!

Let me set this up: For the 3 years that we have lived in this house I can count on one hand the number of times our 2nd bath has been showered or bathed in by my children. For some reason, they have been showering or bathing in our bathroom and I for the life of me can't figure it out. It drives me absolutely batty and I want it to stop. I have asked them for reasons and they give me nothing...they just don't like it. So, last night I was trying to wheel and deal with them and offer some reward for a whole month of showering or bathing in their bathroom. I came up with this: 30 days of showering/bathing in their bathroom = A movie purchase of thier choice. Sounds fair right?...Then Taylor says (prepare to giggle) "Mom, I will shower in our bathroom every night for 2 years if you buy me a Nintendo Ds!" That means that on November 5, 2011, if she upholds her end of the bargain...I will buy a Nintendo Ds for her...hahahaha!!!! How funny is that...we even shook on it and everything...needless to say, I am excited for this deal! Something tells me that Taylor won't be the proud owner of her own Nintendo Ds in a couple of years....but she will be VERY used to showering in her own shower...heehee!!!

Addy is 2 month's old...

My cute little Addy bug is 2 months old already...UGH! She is now 9.6 lbs and 21 1/2 inches long. She is in the 15% for height and weight...doing well! Small but good...just like her sister! She is right on spot with her milestones and the Dr. couldn't be more pleased with her development...she is a perfect bill of health!!! Keeping her inside and away from everyone is working...not fun for those who want to see her and not going to church but nonetheless...it's working!
Jenner had a 2 year check as well and is only 23 lbs and 33 inches...super small...11% height and 4% in weight...she such a mini!!!
